If you're in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area this weekend you won't want to miss the 28th annual Highland Festival, July 15 -17th in St. Paul's Highland Village. This year the festival will feature food, carnival rides, bingo, a Home Improvement Expo and "art galore"! The Art Fair is located on Ford Parkway, between Cleveland and Kenneth avenues. There you will find booth after booth of interesting works. Some of the items on dislay include glass work, wood pieces, metalwork, ceramics, wearable art and leatherwork. Because the work is juried, visitors will find a high quality of workmanship. Buyers can be confident that the piece they buy will both be original and one-of-a-kind. The Art Fair hours during The Highland Festival are 2 to 8pm Friday, 10 to 8pm Saturday, and 11 to 5pm Sunday. This year, the event will feature over 90 artists so you won't want to miss it! -Kate
