"Cloth - Paper - Scissors Challenge"

Kate
This morning I received this e-mail from my very dear friend and co-artistic conspirer, Sheila Wayne, owner of "Underground Art Gallery" in Hastings, Minnesota.  She is challenging us to enter the magazine, "Cloth, Paper, Scissors" Artisan Search 2012 challenge.   To enter choose one of the five categories listed below and create three separate pieces of art for that category.  Send one full page photograph and 1-2 detailed shots of each piece.  But, you only have a couple of days to do this.  All entries must be received by midnight, August 29, 2011.
Good luck, have fun and go create something totally awesome!

I challenge each and every one of you to come up with an awesome and exciting piece of mixed media art and enter the Cloth Paper Scissors, Artisan Search 2012. The bottom link will take you to the rules & faq's.

Sheila
I am going to be working on a piece of mixed media jewelry. Let me know what your plans are and lets have some fun creating this summer.
This may well be a career leap in the direction of creativity that all of us creatives endeavor to achieve.
Let's go and have some fun and see what we can come up with!!!!!!!!!

It's PLAYTIME now. Lets have some fun creating and work (play) at making a name for ourselves.

Hand Prints Bring Back a Wonderful Memory

27 years later
In 1984 my Dad put down a new concrete sidewalk. Before the concrete dried my niece and nephew, Stephanie and Chris placed their hand prints in it. For 27 years we admired their artwork, my Dad made it a separate section so it could be removed some day. Our parents are gone now and there home is up for sale, Pam and I wanted to surprise them and dug it up and brought it down to Redwood Falls,Mn. for our July 4th gathering at my sister Sandy's house. Stephanie is going to put their hand print keepsake in her flower garden. My Dad was always a very sentimental man. Thank you Dad for keeping so many wonderful memories alive in our hearts. Patty
